Fjäll design+build
Cultivating a Sense of Place
by Building for the Future while Honoring the Past
Fjäll Design + Build was born from a desire to revive, restore, and celebrate the spaces that have shaped life in the Mountain West for decades. Through a blend of careful and thoughtful architecture and time-honored craftsmanship, we breathe life into old spaces, and give birth to new ones that strive to earn their own place in the time-honored tradition of Mountain West building.
Why Choose Design Build?
Too often, and for too long, the complexities of the building industry have been barriers to the implementation and creation of quality spaces. Our brand of design-build sets aside the warring interests and egos that can get in the way of creating good buildings. Instead, we employ a fluid, streamlined process built around transparency and communication, united by a common goal – we guide our clients through the challenging headwinds of development and bring their projects into fruition as impactful contributions to our built world.
We have cut our teeth in the traditional, hierarchical models of building and found an alternative – one where the combined skills of architecture, interior design, and end-to-end construction come together in one team.

Our Projects are Crafted with a Passion for the Structures & Spaces that Define the Mountain West
Start Your ProjectUsing our combined decades of experience and diverse backgrounds in design and construction, we cull together the specific skills that match the needs of each project, from ground-up custom built homes to single-room renovations. In this way, we cast aside
the rigidity of conventional construction models and tailor our approach around each unique client and the specific demands of their project. Like the landscapes of the Mountain West that we draw our name from, our ability to adapt to extreme conditions is our strength.
“We used Fjäll Design + Build for a top-to-bottom remodel of our investment property, giving it a stunning and modern refresh. The process of working with one single company to handle architecture, interior design, and construction meant everyone stayed on the same page throughout and when the inevitable hiccups arose (as they do in any major construction project!), Fjäll handled them with grace and efficiency. I can’t imagine any other team being able to match the value of Fjäll’s work. Thank you for everything!”
